Today was the first day of Google I/O, where Google announces new technology directions and new products are showcased. I wanted to mention a couple of the cool ones I saw over at Engadget.com. The coolest thing I saw was the Google Prediction API being built into new Ford cars and its ability to predict where you want to go. Here is more detail:

Another cool thing is Fossil’s new watch that syncs up with your Android phone and gives you pertinent information from there, without having to pull out the whole phone. Here is that story about Fossil’s Meta Watch:

Its awesome to think how cool we’ll be living in a couple of years. Please comment and tell me the coolest things you saw.
