I’ve used Google Chrome for a long time and in my opinion, it is the best Antivirus software for any platform. Whether you’re running a Mac, a PC or Linux, you can keep your bookmarks, passwords, and personal info safe and secure with Google Chrome. Google Chrome is a web browser. It lets you go to websites. If you’re used to clicking the Blue E, you’ve been using Internet Explorer. Even Windows 10 has its Edge browser, which is a fancier, stripped down version of Internet Explorer (I think, although it shows up as Chrome on a lot of sites!).

Your web browser is probably a large part of what you do on your computer. You probably surf the web in a browser. You probably check your internet in a browser. You probably check Facebook in a browser. Your phone has a browser and your computer does as well. If you use Google Chrome, it will synchronize your settings onto your mobile smartphone as well as any computer you use. They even have a tablet version for Android tablets and for iOS tablets, like the iPad and the iPad mini. There is also an iPhone version.
I say all of this to alert you of a scam that is going around. There are fake Google Chrome installs out there! When you download Google Chrome, make sure you get the real version straight from Google’s Chrome website. For reference, it is here:

If you don’t get the official version, it can come with some nasties. I just cleaned up a PC that had a virus on it that had gotten a fake version of Google Chrome accidentially. They had more than 30 programs installed with their “Chrome” that did all sorts of scary things, like give bad guys a back door. We cleaned him up, of course, but you may not be so lucky! So please be careful where you get your Google Chrome download. You’ve only got one chance to get it right.
