This is a live blog of English 255. I got to speak to the class about how I got started blogging, how long I’ve been blogging, why I blog, and what differences I’ve noticed since I started blogging. Then everyone in the class made their own blog for the class. I tried to put things in perspective for the class regarding the blog. I do this blog as a way to keep in touch with my customer base and attract new customers. I want this to be a useful place for people to go for information about their computer problems, but I also want people to call me if they get in over their head.
I talked about the blogs I read, like Gizmodo.com and Engadget.com and how if that was all you read, you would swear that technology is all anyone talks about, which is false. I also talked about how I come up with ideas for things for the blog. It was fun and I was glad to be able to help out Laurie Knox with her class and give back to the University of Tennessee.
